Day 1 Saturday Arrival in Quito, transfer to the hotel
Day 2 Sunday Morning: breakfast
City tour, visit to the main historical and cultural center of the City of Quito, visit to the Mitad del Mundo
Afternoon: lunch and transfer to the airport
Quito-Cuenca trip
Meet families in Cuenca
Day 3 Monday Morning: 8:30 Placement exam
Afternoon: 3:30 Cuenca city tour
Day 4 Tuesday Morning 8:15-12:00 Spanish lessons
10:00-10:30 coffee break
Afternoon: Visit to the Museo de Culturas Aborígenes. Pre Hispanic cultures. The Ecuadorian history  will be explained in the museum
Day 5 Wednesday Morning 8:15-12:00 Spanish lessons
10:00-10:30 coffee break
Afternoon Community service
Day 6 Thursday Morning 8:15-12:00 Spanish lessons
10:00-10:30 coffee break
Visit to one of  the local markets
Afternoon: 3:00
Visit the Central Bank Museum. Ethnics groups and archaeological ruins
Day 7 Friday Morning 8:15-12:00 Spanish lessons
10:00-10:30 coffee break
Ecuadorian food festival
Afternoon: farewell dinner
Day 8 Saturday 8:30 a.m. full day: visit to the archaeological ruins: Cojitambo and Ingapirca which belong to the Cañari and Inca period. Stay in Baños or Puyo
Day 9 Sunday Breakfast
Trek along the most famous road of waterfalls and entrance to the jungle.
Lunch in the center of  Puyo
Continue to Misahualli
Day 10 Monday Morning: Misahualli Jungle visit
Ride in a canoe to the lodge in the Napo river.
Afternoon: visit to a Quichua family to experience and learn about their culture.
Day 11 Tuesday Morning:  4 hour walk and course on the flora and fauna of the Amazon.
Afternoon: community service
Day 12 Wednesday Morning: Canoe to Misahualli.
Afternoon: visit the Jumandy caves, one of the most famous caves in South America.
Return to Misahualli
Day 13 Thursday Morning: Trip to Quito.
Afternoon: Rest at the thermal baths of Papallacta
Overnight in Quito
Day 14 Friday Morning: Departure to Otavalo,
Visit the towns of Peguche (weaving)
San Antonio wood carving
Cotacachi (Leather)
Overnight in Otavalo
Day 15 Saturday Morning:
Full morning to the largest market in South America: Otavalo
Afternoon: Return to Quito
Day 16 Sunday Flight back
