| Day 2 | Tour around Quito and the half of the world An eight hour tour. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Cumbaya and Tumbaco Valleys. We offer you a walk around the old Quito. Includes a visit to the four more interesting museums inside the Colonial area ( the city museum, the museum of Colonial Art, the Maria Augusta Urrutia’s Museum, The San Francisco’s museum). Go uphill to the Panecillo where the statue of the Virgin of Quito is located. This is the best opportunity to enjoy a spectacular view of the city. We can enjoy the delicious food in one of the most prestigious restaurants of Quito, during lunch (Cueva del oso ). Get ready to visit the “Half of the world” that offers you the opportunity to put one foot in each hemispheric of the world. We will visit the Etnographic museum and the many handycraft stores around the Colonial city “ Mitad del Mundo” (half of the world). Later on we will get back to the hotel going trough residential neighborhoods in Quito. |
| Day 3 | We will go to the north of Quito through the “Volcano Avenue” and visit an indigenous market that sits close to the mt. Cotopaxi. Depending on the day we will visit the markets at Latacunga (Tuesday and Saturday), Pujili (Wednesday and Sunday) or Saquasili (Thursday) We will stop for lunch at "Las Rosas" and continue our trip to Guano and Riobamba. |
| Day 4 | In the morning we will continue our trip on a train. We will leave from the train station in Riobamba, pass through many interesting stops on the way including "Nariz del Diablo" (the Devil's Nose), and we will return to Alausi where the car will be waiting for us. We continue our trip in the car to visit the archeological ruins of Ingapirka which are a part of the Inca and Cañari time periods. Arrive to Cuenca. |
| Day 5 | Full day in Cuenca. Cuenca, is the third most populated city in Ecuador, is the cultural capital of America. Cuenca is the host to the international biannual painting exibition. It was declared world heritage site. It is a city that should be visited all around, because of the wonderful handicrafts produced in different shops around the place. |
| Day 6 | Breakfast We will departure to Guayaquil We will go trough the Cajas National Park. A complex with 250 lakes. Get delighted by a classic andinean panoramic view. Lunch in Guayaquil. City tour in Guayaquil, one of the most important commercial centers in South America. |
| Day 6 7 8 9 10 | Choose between an Optional trip to Galapagos islands, or to the "Ruta del Sol" trip around Ecuadors beaches and islands around the coast. |
